I've raised £500 to support the DYW Inverness High Schools community projects and Inverness Men’s Shed. We are taking part in 'Take on the Tash' (Movember)

We will be posting weekly updates
Inverness Men’s shed is a charity dedicated to reducing social isolation and encouraging men to engage in activities that they are interested in, particularly DIY and woodwork. The Men's Shed provides a space where individuals can work together, build friendships, and stay active, helping to prevent a passive lifestyle.
DYW IHS Community Projects
• Community and employability food shed. We are opening a community food shed which will stock ambient products for young people and their families to help themselves to in time of need. The Inverness High School is an area of high need and deprivation, in fact, the highest in the Highlands and in the top ten percent in Scotland. We hope to provide young people and their families with much needed resources alongside employability advice, job adverts and contact details for professionals who specialise in career conversations.
• Defib Project – We are raising money to buy a defib for the use of Inverness High School and local community. Currently the closest defib in Inverness is not within lifesaving distance.
