£14,000!!! Confetti! Drums! Trumpets! To date we have produced around 14,000 portions of soup to get to a range of people self-isolating in Belfast. We are nearing the end of our project but are overwhelmed with joy that we can contribute to the amazing work that our partner charities do throughout the year. This pandemic has created some otherwise strange allegiances. We have met people in our community that we may never have had the chance to before. I keep speaking about this experience as a privilege. I really mean it. Thank you all xx

We are nearing the end of our 10 weeks. Changing from a Gallery into a Soup Kitchen during a pandemic has had its difficulties. It has all been worthwhile. To be trusted by everyone who donated their time, equipment and money to facilitate this project feels like a genuine privilege. All further donations will go to North and West Soup Kitchen to contine their work in the coming months. Getting to £14,000 would really be such an amazing achievement for everyone involved. We have just passed the £12,000 mark which has absolutely made my day. It is starting to get into the grind now, the nervous excitement of beginning wearing off and the reality of the situation we are in, has kicked in. Again, we cannot thank our volunteers and supporters enough. The service we provide is invaluable to many, it feels good to be a part of it. When we look back on this time, we will think of how in times of crisis there will always be people who will help. Thanks again xx
