The charity supports families, children, teenagers, the elderly and disabled people in some villages in Northern Romania.

The main reason for this fund raising is to support a group of members of Criccieth Family Church to plan, prepare and go out to the village in Romania and carry out renovations in the small house, where we run the children's Holiday Clubs. They are due to set off to Romania at the end of May 2017. The money raised will be for the materials, tools, transport and sending out all the equipment required.

Charity money raised is also used to buy groceries, clothing, books, socks, shoes, boots, school bags, bibles, Christian books, firewood for the elderly and to fund activities for poor families that they wouldn't normally be able to experience or have access to.

The reality is that many families and people living in the villages of Northern Romania have very little, they collect their water from a well, as many villages do not have mains water or drainage. This is just one example of how difficult their circumstances can be.

As well as living conditions, accommodation, water access, and other daily challenges they face, they struggle to obtain even the simple things that we couldn't imagine being without. Coats, socks, shoes, clothes, school equipment, and toys for the children. Prices are very high in comparison to salaries, which is why their lives can be so difficult.

Rachel Jones, (charity Director) explained to me on return from her last visit to the village,

"We were able to wash the children's feet, however, some of the children found it uncomfortable because their socks were stuck to them with dirt."

Our charity has been helping people in need with spiritual and practical help in the name of Jesus for eighteen years.
