Story

Many of you were incredibly generous through justgiving 3 years ago when my sister-in-law Louise had a brainstem stroke . She's written a message below in case you're wanting to know how she's getting on.

Before the stroke Louise was really fit and active - running and spending time in the hills. She's recently tried out a fantastic wheelchair which would help her get back out there with James and the kids.
I'm going the Glen Clova Duathlon in October to try and raise some money for the chair which costs just over £5000 and I'd be really grateful if you could sponsor me through this page.

Now, the final word from Louise.....

Thanks to everyone who contributed last time, your generous donation allowed us to buy some equipment for the rehab cabin such as a standing frame, a wooden frame that has support straps that allow me to stand and exercise, and a moveable, a machine that helps strengthen my arms.
Rehab is going slowly but surely. I do about 4 hours of exercise a day during the week, am up to about 300 squats and stand for about 2 hours a day.
What I need now is an all terrain wheel chair so I can get out with the family. As you know l hate shopping and being around town preferring to be outside in the country. The wheelchair we’ve seen is called a mountain tryke wwwmountaintrike.com, and gone on tracks, beaches, in woods etc...

Thanks again for your generous support
