My close friend Mark has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer, stage 3 pancreatic.
He is a kind, hard working man with a loving family to whom he is a stepdad to 3 and also a baby grandchild.
The family themselves have battled many serious issues in the past and have worked extensively hard to get to where they are today and now this news has turned their lives upside-down.
They have been let down by the system and unfortunately are now one of the many statistics of people who have been bounced around by doctors and illness caught too late!! This is a very close matter to my heart, not only did I lose my mother to cancer due to failings in the system, but this family is very close to ours and have been neighbours for nearly a decade.

I would like to rally round your support so we can make some of Mark's and his families final wishes come true , so they can make precious memories with the limited time they have left.

I am currently in the process of trying to arrange a mini complimentary holiday for them via a local company.

We would love to be able to raise some spending funds for this for them and also tick a few things off their list..
Including
*Harry Potter world with a couple of days in London to sight see.
* Colchester zoo
* Driving experience day
* Family beach holiday ( I'm working on that one, as above)
These are the main achievable things I would like to help them achieve and we will all be entirely grateful to anyone who donates and helps us achieve his final wishes and memories.
