I've raised £500 to Support Breathe by Chopping off my Hair!!!

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page!!
I'm cutting (a lot of) my hair off!! I've been growing my hair pretty much since the start of Uni and its got pretty long, it's also become a bit of a comfort blanket and a pretty useful hair-scarf in the winter! ....So 2 years back I decided that following Graduation in July I'm going to cut it off and donate at least 10 inches to the Little Princess Trust. The Little Princess Trust make wigs for children and young adults who suffer with hair loss as a result of cancer treatment and other illnesses.
I also thought it would be a great opportunity to raise some money for a charity that has a profound impact on peoples lives.
The charity I've decided to raise money for is Breathe Arts Health Research!
Hemiplegia is a disability that affects approximately 1 in 1000 people. It is a lifelong condition, caused by injury to the brain, that affects movement on one side of the body, as well as causing less visible effects such as learning difficulties and anxiety.
Breathe AHR is an organisation that provide support to children with Hemiplegia. They offer a range of fun intensive physiotherapy courses, that teach children to improve their motor skills. The video below shows how much of a difference the Breathe Magic courses can make.....
Breathe are supported by a number of Magicians from the Magic Circle, who help run the physiotherapy courses. One of the children in the video who participated in the Breathe Magic said this about his experience......
It was hard work but definitely worth it. It made me use two hands which i struggled with before. All the magicians were really kind and made the whole two weeks fun!
Every donation will go towards a great cause, no matter how large or small. All together it will make such a difference, and be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much for your kind donations! Much love :)
P.S I would have set up a fundraising page rather than a crowdfunding page, however Breathe AHR are currently in the process of setting up their charity status!
