In 2013 my lovely Poppy was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer which unfortunately had spread to various other parts of his body. The specialists advised it was unlikely he would survive more than 6 months. He battled on with determination, positivity and absolute class for 3 years, always smiling, enjoying life and creating some brilliant memories. On 1st August 2016 - as he celebrated his Grandaughters 1st birthday he grew his wings and said goodbye. During the last few months of his life he received priceless care and support at the St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield. I promised him that when I felt up to it I would do my best to try and raise some money as a token to say thankyou for looking after my treasure. So here I am asking for your support to help me deliver on a promise.

For over a year I have been growing my hair so I can take part in a sponsored chop! In typical Yorkshire style, I wont be wasting the hair and this will be donated to the little princess charity to hopefully make a wig for a child. The money raised will then go to St Luke’s Hospice.

I dont expect to raise ££££s but anything you can spare will be so appreciated xx
