This is my beautiful grandaughter Amelia. She has had a bad start in life after contracting meningitis when she was 8 weeks old. She is a very happy little girl despite not being able to sit,walk or have any sight due to the brain damaged caused by the illness. I am trying to raise money for her as she is in need of a special car seat. There is no funding available for this and the cost is £2,900. Without this it makes taking out in the car impossible as she is to big for a standard seat. This makes it hard to get to hospital appoitments or any other treatments that Amelia needs to attend.
