I've raised £10000 to help Drone SAR for Lost Dogs UK

I’m taking on the Half Marathon Des Sables in Peru this November, it’s a gruelling four day challenge, taking me through 120km of the Ica Desert in Peru. This challenge is self supported meaning that for each of the stages, I have to carry all the food and water I need - I’m both excited and daunted by the challenge.
For this challenge, I’ve chosen to raise money for a cause close to my heart, Drone Search and Rescue for Lost Dogs UK - an organisation of volunteer drone pilots, across the UK, who help dog owners who have lost their dogs by getting an aerial view of the area.
Thanks for visiting, and for your support.
About Drone SAR for Lost Dogs UK:
Drone SAR For Lost Dogs UK, was first established in July 2017 for the sole purpose of helping to find and reunite missing dogs back with their owners. Drone SAR relies on a network of drone pilots from all around the UK who give up their free time totally voluntary in the search for people's missing dogs. Since the first Drone SAR group was established we have gone on to establish another group Drone SAR Ground Search Teams For Lost Dogs UK, where we have hundreds of ground search volunteers who again offer their free time to help search for missing dogs. To date we have over 15,500 members between the two groups and gaining on a daily basis we have also helped to reunite well over 1000 dogs back with their owners in this time.
We are fundraising to buy Thermal Imaging Cameras for these drones which will expand our capabilities in finding peoples beloved missing pets. The Thermal Imaging Cameras which attach to the drones are expensive but are really an essential piece of equipment to enable us in helping to find missing dogs in the woods countryside and at night time.
