I've raised £500 to 10 KM inflatabele run to raise miney for Liam with (DIPG) Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma

Liam is a 5 year old boy that was diagnosed DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) at the start of May 2018. This is a incurable and inoperable brain tumour giving Liam up to a year to live. Just one child a year would develop this terrible disease at the Queens Medical Centre Nottingham. There is currently no cure. DIPG grows in the area of the brain that controls sleep, respiration, swallowing, bladder control, hearing, taste, eye movement, facial expressions, facial sensation, and posture. Growing in this area makes surgery to remove the cancerous tumour impossible. However tests and trials are being carried out in a handful of places around the world to work towards a cure, or extend the length of the prognosis past a year. This cancer usually only affects children under the age of 10.
Currently the only treatment is radiotherapy within the NHS. This will only shrinks the size of the tumour before it comes back again, only with radiotherapy will Liam live for up to a year.
The only way Liam has any hope of beating this horrible disease is to go abroad and to be treated. The treatment's start around £30,000
I am doing this 10 km inflatable run challenge to push my self to the limit. For people that don't know me I am not a very fit person. I am pushing myself to the limit here. I just want do my bit and raise some money and help and try and have some fun while doing it.
Thank you for taking time to look at this page
Many Thanks
