Story

We are hosting our annual Andy Mac Memorial Golf Day on the 25th May 2019. This year we are raising money for an amazing young boy called Frankie who unfortunately was born with Mitochondrial Disease. This disease is a mutation of the cells in his little body which have no energy. There is currently no treatment OR cure for this disease which means his life expectancy is limited.

The chances of Frankie getting this particular form of the horrible disease was 1 in 400,000 and apparently there is only one other child still alive in the UK with this form of disease.

Frankie is a very happy young lad, however he need around the clock care. Frankie does not have the ability to be mobile by himself and Frankie's family want to give him his own Independence in the form of a self controlled electric wheel chair. This will come at a substantial personal cost to the family and it is our aim to help raise as much funds as possible to make their dream a reality.
