Story
Frances Bea Carpenter was born with Merosin Deficient Congenitial Muscular Dystrophy, a rare neuromuscular condition which means she is unable to walk or stand. Whilst there is currently no cure, her quality of life is enhanced by specialist mobility equipment. 2 years ago she received a Mustang Powered wheelchair through the NewLife Foundation, which has dramatically changed her life by giving her both independence to get around on her own steam, as well participate in outdoor activities with her friends and family. As with all complex machinery, because it is used day to day it suffers from wear and tear, and is in need of some maintenance and replacement parts. This page is to help raise some of the funds required to keep Frances mobile!
