Story
Hi everyone,
My name’s Frank, and in April 2026 I’ll be taking on the London Marathon – 26.2 miles through the streets of our capital, alongside thousands of runners from across the country. It’s a massive personal challenge, but one I’m proud to take on in support of a cause very close to my heart: Springbank Community Group CiC in Cheltenham.
Springbank isn’t just a local charity – it’s part of my family’s story. The group was founded by my mum, sister and brother-in-law, and I’ve seen first-hand how much time, love, and energy has gone into building a safe, inclusive space where people from all walks of life are welcomed and supported.
Whether it’s through youth clubs, a community food pantry, a support café, social groups, or outreach projects – Springbank Community Group CiC continues to make a real difference every single day in the lives of people across Cheltenham.
This fundraiser will help them continue their vital work, including:
💙 Youth clubs and outreach supporting vulnerable young people
🛒 Community pantry and food support for families struggling to make ends meet
☕️ Social groups and wellbeing activities tackling loneliness and isolation
👣 Steps to Adulthood programme helping neurodiverse young people become more independent
Every single penny will go directly to supporting the Springbank community. Whether you donate £5 or £50, your support will help them continue to deliver life-changing support to those who need it most.
I’ll be posting updates along my training journey – all the way to race day – and I’d love for you to follow along and cheer me on.

Let’s show what community can really do 💪
Thank you so much for your support.
