Story
The Feed a Family and Social Supermarket in Crete was a cause close to Fran's heart. She used to collect the food for very poor families ready for distribution and every week she would go to the Children’s Nursery to help teach the children English.

7 years agoThank you all so much for your support in memory of Fran. She would be so pleased that you have raised a total of £2055 up to today 31st August for the Social Supermarket Feed a Family and Nursery work in Apokoronas Crete. There are over 300 poor families there and with no welfare state and an unemployment benefit that stops after a year these families are a small pocket desperately in need. Fran was very keen to support this with her time effort and money. It also almost uniquely joined together expats and Cretans creating community. Philip
