Hi! My name is Frazer Matt, and I am 12 years old. Since I saw Matilda the Musical when I was 6 I have loved musical theatre. I started going to Stagecoach Theatre Company on Saturdays and have had the chance to perform at places such The Royal Albert hall. The last two years I have been lucky enough to be selected for the junior ensemble for the Cambridge Arts Pantomimes.

This year I took a leap and auditioned for the prestigious National Youth Music Theatre, Idris Elba started there! I managed to get through 2 rounds of auditions, up against 100’s of children nationwide, and to my complete surprise I landed a lead role in the NYMT production, Superhero The Musical. My character’s name is Stan, and is the main character’s sidekick. I get to work with professional directors, writers and producers. I’m even going to Kent for 9 days in the Easter holidays to rehearse, and I am so excited even though this is the longest I’ve ever been away from home.

However, the only problem is the course fees. The exact cost is £925, and I would really like to raise £250 of this fee myself or more if I can. This is why I need your help. From 5pm on Wednesday 21st March to 5pm on Friday 23rd March me and two of my (very understanding and supportive) friends Kaiya and Alice are doing a Sponsored Silence. Staying silent for a whole 48 hours for my friends and I is going to be a massive challenge, unsurprisingly we’re known to be quite dramatic!
