Story
Freddie's Wish was set up in memory of Freddie Fox, who was involved in a road traffic accident in December 2014 that tragically took his life at just 13 months old.
Freddie's Mum, Charlotte wanted to create a legacy in his name and that is when Freddie's Wish (1168483) was born. The main aims of the charity are to train families with the skills to save their child's life should they need to by providing free paediatric first aid courses with the brilliant MDD First Aid.
In addition, to provide bereavement support for anyone who has been affected by the loss of a baby or child from the moment of conception, with no limit on age. The charity is able to do this through the fantastic partnership with Safe Space and Grief Chat.
Whatever you can donate, will help to make a huge difference to Freddie's Wish, to enabling them to keep providing their free paediatric first aid awareness courses for families to be equipped with the vital skills to save their child's life should they need to. These sessions work out to cost the charity approximately £25 per person.
These donations will also enable Freddie's Wish to keep funding their bereavement support service across Warwickshire in partnership with Safe Space which is provided for free to parents who have lost a baby or child from the moment of conception with no upper age limit. These sessions work out at an approximate cost of £45 per session.
Finally, we are also very proud to work with Grief Chat to provide an online chat at-need support service for those in need of immediate one off bereavement support, this service is delivered by bereavement counsellors and is available on our website from 9-9 Monday to Friday. Each chat costs the charity approximately £25.
Thank you so much and any donation that you can make, big or small, will make a huge difference towards supporting Freddie's Wish. If you want to find out any more about the charity please take a look at their website, freddieswish.org
