I've raised £1000 to support Joy for Humanity, a Ugandan charity that shelters and educates orphans, homeless and the poor. We'll do this as I conquer Ben Nevis.

It's that time of the year where I find a reputable charity that is doing great things especially in terms of changing lives but is not exposed enough to get tangible donations. I then embark on a challenge while encouraging kind people to donate to a great cause.
Last year I conquered Scafell Pike for Combat Stress. This year (May 2018), I will be conquering Ben Nevis for a Ugandan charity called Joy for Humanity.
Joy for Humanity has a mission to empower Ugandans living below the poverty line, especially children, women and youth, learn how to earn an income, using a “learning-by-doing” methodology, which allows them to meet their basic needs and lead healthy, productive, and dignified lives.
Founded by Joseph Lukwago and Family, the charity was birthed out of Kyazanga Modern Primary School and Kyazanga Community in 2006 to see that Joy prevails over the community people who have been less privileged and deprived for a long time.
I have spoken with founder (Joseph) and volunteers from Frampton Park Baptist Church. I am touched by how lives have been transformed with little funds - an orphan educated from primary that has now finished secondary, a thousand chicks that grew into chickens that now feed families and many more success stories of transformed lives...
Please join me in raising more funds for Joy for Humanity while I smash Ben Nevis.
You may not have the time or energy to join me but you have the cash and the goodwill.
Let's do it together!
With gratitude,
