We have sent out Shipment 2 which will cover all people who signed up at freesurgicalmasks.com. We are unlikely to be able to make further shipments due to limited fundraising progress. However, we're really proud to have sent 5,300 masks to hundreds of people and raised awareness of this vital issue. I will send free surgical masks to anyone who signs up for them. In exchange, become a mask-wearing trailblazer in your community.
How it works
Sign up using the form on our website: http://freesurgicalmasks.com/#signup
I will send you enough masks for ten days for you and your pledges for free. In ten days, visit the site and see if we’ve raised enough funds to repeat!
My pledges?
My purpose in doing this is to normalize basic mask-wearing at a local level. The necessary ingredients are:
1. Masks (from me).
2. Trailblazing individuals willing to lead the way (by you).
Sign up to our campaign, receive masks, wear masks when outside, leave masks on your neighbors doorsteps. Lead your community into feeling comfortable wearing masks.
What’s the catch?
None. I have covered the first 2200 masks (Shipments 1 and 2). This is my contribution. I hope Shipment 3 and beyond will be covered by donations.

Masks work
The goal of this campaign is to give you the tools to normalize mask-wearing in your community. Masks work. Masks need to become commonplace in Western societies at least until this is over. I can’t stand wearing them either. But it’s necessary for now. Just for now.
