raised of £5,000 target by 39 supporters

Weʼve raised £1,584 to The PBH Free Fringe supports artists to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe for free.

    Edinburgh, UK
Funded on Saturday, 4th August 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

The Free Fringe will return to Edinburgh in 2018. The Free Fringe is exactly that: free. Free for performers and free for the audience. Performers pay nothing to be part of the Free Fringe. No registration fees, no hire fees, no box office split. The Free Fringe wants to support artists no matter what their financial situation. This year there will be over 9,000 Free Fringe performances ranging from comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret or spoken word. All for free.

To make these shows happen we need your support. Please help us make the 2018 Free Fringe the biggest yet and allow us to support even more artists in performing in Edinburgh.

On 4 and 5 July we will be hosting a 24 hour Free Fringe performance with all funds raised going to this fundraiser and we hope you can attend one. We have shows in Paris, London, New York, Dublin, Melbourne, Taiwan, Coventry and more. Check out our Facebook page for more infomation and follow #PBHFreeFringe on social media.

Donate at least £5 and we will give you a shout out on Twitter or Facebook...if you let us know your handle of course!

It costs almost £30,000 to host the PBH Free Fringe. It is an organisation run via volunteers. Nobody receives a salary. Nobody in PBH profits from our performers shows other than the performers themselves. We sell advertising through the Wee Blue Book (the essential guide to PBH Free Fringe shows), donations and income from fundraising events. We would welcome your support to ensure the PBH Community has a brilliant Edinburgh in 2018.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you in Edinburgh.

Was awesome to take part in last year and tbh the only way I could have as the costs can be so repressive. Will be back this August and hope for another awesome experience.Well done to all involved!!

I am honored along with my co-runners of Riff Raff comedy club Dublin Oisin Hanlon and John Spillane, to make a contribution to PBH who make the impossible possible for emerging comedians like us.
