I started Freja's Food Run in June 2018 after volunteering for a homeless charity in my local area of Northampton. Born and bred (minus a few years in California) in Northampton, I decided I wanted to give back to my community and help where I could.

The homeless charity I worked with previously, patrolled the town giving out food once a month, and that left me thinking - what about all the other days the homeless are hungry? I decided to add two more days of 'food runs' into the month, and so far I've had a fantastic response with volunteers. I make and buy all of the food myself, however now after wanting to add more days onto the rota it simply isn't sustainable for me to continue to fund the project solely. I would like to grow Freja's Food Run so it works on a weekly basis, feeding as many hungry homeless as we can. Even if it just £1 that you can give, £1 goes along way and anything is totally appreciated. I just want to thank all of my lovely volunteers who give up their time and are continuing to do so to put back into our community.
