I've raised £5000 to Freya’s Fund

Hello Everyone!
Freya is an incredibly strong and amazing little girl. Freya and her family are going through an unimaginable time, something that no parent would ever wish to experience.
Please take a moment to read Freya’s story written by her mum Sarah:
”Our Freya Girl
Freya is the strongest girl , we are so incredibly proud of her and so lucky to call her our beautiful daughter.
Freya was critically ill and was transferred to The Royal Brompton Hospital on the 31st December 2022. Freya’s heart stopped three times due to Strep A , Sepsis and Toxic Shock and Organ failure. We had taken her to our local GP and Hospital, but she unfortunately was not diagnosed until it was nearly too late
Freya fought for her life, she is our Pocket Rocket & Tiny but Mighty. Freya had a full blood transfusion, was fully ventilated and was put on an ECMO machine to save her life. Thankfully our little girl stayed with us and now Freya has a long journey ahead of her to recover.
Freya spent 16 weeks in hospital and we are currently at The Children’s Trust in Tadworth for a 12 week placement to help her with her brain injury due to the lack of oxygen when her heart stopped on those three occasions. Freya has to learn to do everything again , if any girl can do it our girl can.
Myself , Freya’s dad James and our son Jacob are Freya’s biggest supporters and we will be right by her side through the next stages of her recovery.
The love and support we have received from our family ,friends and well wishes has been overwhelming and we have had an army behind us to keep our family together.
We are forever grateful our girl is still with us and we want Freya to have a wonderful, fun , crazy life and fulfil all her dreams.”
As you can imagine, Sarah, James, Jacob and Freya’s lives have been turned upside down, they can not predict what the future will hold for them at this moment in time. Sarah is now unable to work and has become Freya's full time carer. They are the most incredible family and they are determined to help Freya to live her life to the fullest!
We would love to support Freya and her family through Freya’s recovery whether it helps them to buy equipment for Freya or be able to spend time as a family.
To raise money for Freya and her family, we will be pushing ourselves to the absolute limit to complete the challenge 'Man vs Mountain' in September. This is a 22 mile trail run up the mountainous terrain of Snowden and down the other side into Dinorwic Quarry where we will be thrown in an array of action-packed obstacles, including the infamous Vertical Kilometre and Walk the Plank quarry jump.
