We have taken on the epic challenge to run the Pontefract half marathon and We really want to help raise money for the Valley Gardens that We have grown to love over many years. The volunteers provide a service that the Friends of the Friarwood Valley gardens provide is truly amazing. They help raise money so that they can provide a pleasureable experience for people who visit the gardens. They have recently built a play area and a band stand. They desperately need help with funds not only to preserve and restore aspects but to introduce new and exciting things. Some of the ideas your money would help towards would be:
Speakers so musicians can perform and we can hold events there
Picnic benches, a fairy garden for the children to enjoy.
