I've raised £1000 to help Friends Welfare Trust to run Friends Hospital and Dialysis Centre in Pakistan

Friends Welfare Trust was founded on 1st June 2005 with the aim to contribute in improving the current condition of health services in Pakistan, particularly in rural and under-privileged areas where medical facilities and health awareness is almost non-existent.
The Trust is a non-profitable, non-political, non-governmental organization registered with the Government of Pakistan, Registration No. 5892. Book No.1, Volume 1767 in Islamabad.
It is also certified by Pakistan centre for philanthropy ( PCP) https://www.pcp.org.pk/, Pakistan bait ul mal, and Punjab health commission. FBR has exempted it from tax as Trust.
All financial matters are supervised by well reputed auditors and legal advisors.
The trust runs Friends Hospital and Dialysis Centre in Rawalpindi. The hospital has almost all medical services at tertiary level including fully equipped medical lab, X-rays, Ultrasound, Operation theatres and labour room with indoor and outdoor facilities.
In 2018 the hospital served 62,750 patients, carried out 656 surgeries, 255 deliveries, 1315 X-Rays and 2818 ultrasounds. The dialysis centre helped 4433 patients.
In 2018 trust spent over Rs 62 million and the total revenue was around Rs 46 million leaving a deficit of about Rs 16 million. The trust relies on donations to continue supporting poor patients so please donate generously to the cause and help create awareness.
