I've raised £500 to help fund the regeneration of the Beech Lane Children's Play Area in West Hallam

The Friends of Beech Lane Group was set up in December 2016 by a group of local resisdents to try and improve the playground facilities on Beech Lane Recreational Ground situated in West Hallam Village. A three phase plan was formed to dramatically improve the playground facilites. Phase 1 is completed with the installation of the new play equipment. This cost £8000 and was funded by the Tesco Bags of Help Grant Scheme. The existing play equipment has been painted and new tarmac surfacing completed. This was funded by West Hallam Parish Council and the surfacing work completed by Simon Douglas Construction with no charge for their labour. Phase 2 is underway with the planning and purchasing of a 30 metre Zip Wire for the older children at a cost of £10,000. A National Lottery 'Rewards for All' grant apllication has been sumitted for this work. Finally Phase 3 is where we need your help.
We need your support to raise additional funds to replace all the panelling on the existing climbing frame, replace the cargo net also, replace the existing two activity boards and paint activites/games onto the new tarmac. Completion of this work will leave us with facilities that are safe for our children to play on, an area that our children can enjoy for years to come and an area that we as a village can all feel proud of.
So our plee is to you all - as the residents of our wondeful village to dig deep into your pockets and donate genourously to help reach our target and more if possible for the children and young people of our village.
All donations are gratefully received.
