Thank you

Hello, my name is Noble and I'm the therapy dog for Clarawood School. I love it here, the boys and girls take super good care of me! They feed me, take me for walks, fuss over me and tell me what a good boy I am, they're the best!

I know the boys and girls here have had a tough time so I help with that. Sometimes they have really big feelings and don't know what to do with them, they might be sad, or angry or confused which can be scary for them. Sometimes they are stressed and I let them know that's ok. When I see them upset, I sit beside them and help them cope with those big feelings. I know I've helped because the boys and girls stop being upset and start smiling, which makes me happy too.

I have some special friends here. One boy finds mornings really hard, he can get really upset. He takes me for a walk when he arrives and that makes things better. The big person told me the boy doesn't talk to them unless I'm there and I help him feel safe. I hear him chatting to one of the big people and I suppose that might help too but I think it's mostly me, I am a good boy after all.

The big humans here are called 'staff'. They're a strange bunch but they mean well. They help the boys and girls too and they also think I'm a good boy! And they're right. They told me since I've arrived the boys and girls smile more and are less upset. The staff always smile when they see me so I think maybe I help them as well.

I love the people here and they love me.

Being such a good boy is hungry work and so I eat a lot. And I need a vet to look after me. And I need some toys, not many, but some. And a bed. And a new bed because I ate the old one. And for some reason one of the big people collects my poops in these funny little bags, weird but true. I also need treats. If the big people ask, tell them I need lots of treats!

All these things add up so the big people are doing lots of big events to help raise funds to keep me here. My friend Jonni ran the the Belfast Marathon and we have lots of other events coming up.

One silly man is running the 7 highest peaks in the Mournes, all in one go! He's doing this at the end of May so I hope it goes well!

The big people will let know when these things are happening, look out on the socials for

#be_more_noble and follow me on Instagram @be_more_noble

I'd be super happy and grateful if you could support them and let me keep helping the great boys and girls here in Clarawood School.

Lots of love

Noble
