Staff in Eye Outpatient's department here in the Friarage Hospital Northallerton are aiming to help raise more funds for the wonderful Friends of the Friarage charity. This charity provides the hospital with all kinds of support and pays for new equipment on top of that provided by the NHS to enhance our services to our community. Equipment funded is used daily here in our Ophthalmic Clinics and we would like to raise money for friends of the friarage to contribute to a much needed peice of equipment for our glaucoma services. To raise funds we as a team will walk 500 miles throughout November outside of our working times. We will keep you all updated with our mileage achieved each day in November and Friends of the Friarage will also publish updates on their facebook and website pages.
