Story

How many of you have memories of playing in Hall Hill Park on the roundabout, the swings in Carters Park or the slide in Netherfields? Many of us spent hours meeting and playing in the local parks and have fond memories of our childhood playgrounds. We want to provide the future generations with that same privilege.

Children need safe areas to play and socialise with family and friends. Friends of Holbeach Parks are looking to raise a total of approx £180,000 to renovate 3 parks in Holbeach, Hall Hill Park, Netherfields Playing Field and Carters park to their former glory and provide the children of Holbeach and surrounding areas somewhere fun, safe and exciting to play.

Over the past few years the parks have become run down and equipment removed from some parks several years ago. Carters Park needs newer, more exciting equipment. Netherfields is completely empty and this area is surrounded by young families needing an area for their children/ grandchildren to burn off some energy! Hall Hill Park merely has an empty swing frame, one goal post and one lonely rocker.

Holbeach needs a boost for our local community and with our expanding housing developments we want to give locals better amenities in our town to have fun with their children.

We will be looking at equipment which will be exciting, fun, durable and not easily vandalised so it will be long lasting which comes at a price!

Therefore any donation you can give will be greatly appreciated and we thank you for your kind support!
