Llanfair Caereinion, a very small town in Mid Wales lost its "Bong" approximately two years ago. We miss it! Our Clock that sits in the tower of St Mary's Church was made by Benson in 1885 and is a Three Train Flatbed Clock, the mechanism is damaged and the oak frame that houses the mechanism is in need of repair.

Llanfair Caereinion Community have set up "Friends of Llanfair Clock" to "Bring Back Our Bong". The committee are applying for grants and have held fund raising events and St Mary's Church have pledged £4000 towards the project of repairing and refurbishing the clock and clockface, we still need to raise more, please help and support our cause, so we can continue to enjoy our clock for years to come.
