Story

UPDATE: Due to injury, Dr Chris Monella and Medwyn's Practice Manager, Nanette Nobes, will be walking on behalf of the Friends of Medwyn Surgery.

On 12th September, I will be taking part in this year's Rotawalk on behalf of the Friends of Medwyn Surgery.

I am raising money for an ultrasound machine that will enable Medwyn Surgery to conduct treatments at the surgery, rather than having to attend East Surrey Hospital. This will save patients travelling time and importantly, speed up access to treatment locally. In addition, this will enable GP/clinicians with knowledge of the injury to deal directly with patients and deliver a high quality service which will help patients recover more quickly.

Also, another reason for me walking, is that I have been with the Surgery for 11 years and the treatment and service I ( and other patients ) have received during this time has been outstanding. I am delighted to be able give something back to Medwyn Surgery to acknowledge the excellent care we get from all the staff at Medwyn.

A big thank you to the companies who are supporting Rotawalk'21:

Downs Solicitors , Dorking Business Breakfast Group, Beare Green Stores , Bray Estates , The Dorking Butchery , Dorking Domestic Appliances , S J Clear , Solomon Blinds (Beare Green) , South Holmwood Village Club and Red Chilli ... Flavours of India.
