The Friends of Whickham Parochial Primary School is a local registered charity, which raises funds to provide activities and equipment for the children of Whickham Parochial C of E Primary School.

This year a lot of our usual fundraising activities have been limited by the pandemic. The school have asked us to fund laptops to enhance the pupils learning experience. We would love to raise enough for 15 laptops but any single laptop would be a great addition to the school resources. Each laptop costs £490.

Due to COVID-19 the traditional school Christmas Fayre will not be taking place this year. However, we are still going to arrange for the children of the school to enjoy a Christmas Fayre in school time, safely in their class bubbles. They will all be able to enjoy many of the usual Fayre activities: the popular sweet & chocolate tombola, guess the name of the Elf, toy lucky dip, Christmas crafts and biscuit decorating.

The children can participate for free but we are asking families to a make a donation towards our laptops here, if they are able.

A suggested donation is £6 per child which will cover the cost of the Fayre, games, crafts & prizes. All children will get to take part in all the activities and come home with goodies. They will not have to pay anything on the day.

All funds raised will go to The Friends of Whickham Parochial School (registered Charity No: 1144491) and will be used to benefit Whickham Parochial Primary School.
