I've raised £2500 to help fund hydrotherapy and assistance needed to help Craig Glossop

Me, along with 3 friends are helping to raise as much money as we possibly can to help Craig Glossop recover from a life changing brain hemorrhage by competing in the 2018 Tough Mudder on 11th August at Heaton Park.
On the first of July 2013 we got a call that Craig Glossop was rushed into hospital with a suspected heart attack. This came as a massive shock as he was only 45 and to my knowledge was as healthy as can be! When we reached the hospital we were told he had in-fact suffered from a bleed to the brain. From this he was immediately transferred to Salford Royal hospital where he was to spend the next year or so of his life. It was a miracle that he survived the night after suffering from two cardiac arrests as a result of the bleed and a stroke during the operation to close the bleed. He was placed in an induced coma and we were told many times that there was a chance we may not hear his voice or see him walk again. But Craig Glossop was a fighter and fought everyday to get home to us. As of today he has officially been home for just over a year. Getting him home has been tough, we went through care homes and home visits to eventually getting an extension on the house for his bedroom and bathroom downstairs. He is now wheelchair bound, struggles with speech, coordination and has 24 hour care. The reason we are creating this page and raising money is to contribute to funding his hydro-therapy. Hydrotherapy, is a part of alternative medicine, in particular of naturopathy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy, that involves the use of water for pain relief and treatment. Craig started hydrotherapy a number of weeks ago and we have seen a dramatic alteration in his personality and physical ability since starting. Before his first session he was unable to stand up in the water or float by himself, he is now capable of walking in the water (granted, this is with support) and floating by himself and has improved his coordination massively. Hydro therapy is the one thing as well as attending a gym, that has given him hope that things are still able to improve and he can get better. The only issue is that it costs £100 per session which is not funded by his care package. It would not only mean so much to his family but also to Craig as it is part of the journey to help him become at least partially independent again.
