Hello, we are Mini Motley Sanctuary - a safe haven for animals rescued from slaughter and traumatic beginnings. We're a CIC and provide a forever home and life-time specialist care for high-needs animals that have been through very difficult life experiences.

We’ve finally found the perfect permanent home for our sanctuary — but we need your help!

At the moment, we’re on rented land, at constant threat of eviction and have many restrictions. We're not allowed to make changes to the land or add adaptions that we desperately need for the animals - like building a grass-free Track System that would be life-changing for our laminitis-prone horses or even installing scratch posts or building enrichment areas. We also live with the constant fear of eviction.

We’ve hoped and dreamed of finding a permanent home for our animal sanctuary and finally, a premises has come up for sale within our postcode. It's the right amount of land, with stabling, outbuildings, mains water for the animals water supply and solar-powered lighting.

It’s been a long held dream to find a forever home for the sanctuary on land that we can manage for the exclusive benefit of these incredible animals without the restrictions of landowners and constant fear of eviction.

Miraculously, the perfect land has become available for purchase a short distance from our home but we need help to make it happen!

-- Our little laminitic horses, with metabolic issues, desperately need a Track System to manage their conditions. This isn’t allowed on rented land, but we would be able to build this on our own Mini Motley Sanctuary premises. This is vital in keeping all of our horses happy and healthy.

-- We would be able to rescue more animals and help more animals in need.

-- We could install scratch posts; massage posts; cooling misting stations; shelters from the weather — without restrictions from landlords — and any other enrichment ideas we have to help the animals.

-- We want to install livestream cameras around the Track System so that supporters all over the world can watch the animals at rest, play, eating etc. We also want to inspire and educate more animal advocates of all ages around the world.

£10,000 — £50,000 — Name a paddock or sanctuary field with a permanent plaque

£50,000+ — naming a significant sanctuary building like the stables or creativity hub

We’ve found the land, it’s in our postcode…it’s everything our once discarded and unwanted animals need and deserve - it’s the beautiful rainbow at the end of their difficult journeys! Could you help us to raise the funds we desperately need to make this happen?
