We aim to raise £2500 for our upcoming contained thriller 'FOLK'. Below you will find all of the details about the production, where you can learn about the story, our goals for the project and an in-depth breakdown of the budget so you know where your money is going!

The film is a co-production between FUZZYHEAD & OXYGEN FILMS, two production houses with the shared goal of creating visceral media and pushing boundaries within film.

The production is headed by Executive Producer - Gage Oxley [Oxygen Films] and Producer - Finlay Cronshaw-Hardy [Fuzzyhead] & Writer/Director - Cameron Summers [Fuzzyhead].

We aim to create a film that stays with the audience after viewing, bringing the horror element to a more naturalistic tone and feel and cementing it in realism. Tapping into themes of confinement, depravity & captivity.

Above is our budget breakdown and how we plan to use the money; below is a more in-depth explanation of the breakdown.

SET / ACCOMMODATION:

The location has been specifically chosen to best match that of the house described within the screenplay, but also for the convenience of the number of cast and crew.

To ensure we are cost-effective on the production, ALL cast & crew will be staying on location to maintain timekeeping and to keep fuel emissions low, so there is limited travel where possible.

TRANSPORT:

All cast and crew members will be travelling to North-West Wales from Manchester by car. The crew numbers have been whittled down to allocate members to 3 separate cars and a rental van. The money raised for transport will go to the hire of the production van alongside the fuel costs for the vehicles on the round trip.

CATERING:

All food on-set will be purchased on arrival to ensure freshness and sustainability, and also to promote zero waste. Food will be acquired from local supermarkets close to the filming location.

FESTIVAL SUBMISSIONS:

Upon the film's completion, we aim to submit our project to various well-regarded film festivals in and around the UK. We aim to bring our film to as many people as possible, whilst this is something we would love to do, this can be expensive.

EXTRA HELP:

If we manage to secure funding for all of our main categories, any money that runs over will be put forward for extra submissions to festivals and charitable causes.
