    Story

As a kid, I always took everything for granted as people around me would either have the same or better life than I do. However, as I grew up, I started realising that there were a lot more unfortunate people - whether they do not have access to educational resources or have a disability. Therefore, two of my friends and I would like to start a project to help kids with a cleft lip or palate around the world. We are mainly focusing on children in Surabaya who are lacking in financial resources to get a surgery so that they can have a brand-new, beautiful smile. Through the surgery, we can prevent children from serious health issues such as malnutrition due to difficulty in feeding, hearing loss due to ear infections as well as bullying or social isolation.
