Taking inspiration from my employer, 2 Sisters Food Group, as well as colleagues who have contributed to the local community over the past few years, I have decided to do three endurance events to raise funds for three local schools, to help families impacted from the cost-of-living crisis.

My endurance activities will include:

1. Manchester Marathon – 42.2km run on the 16th of April

2. Outlaw Half Nottingham Triathlon - 1.9km swim followed by 90km bike and finishing with 21.1km run on the 21st of May

3. Outlaw Nottingham Full Iron Triathlon - 3.8km swim followed by 180km bike and finishing with 42.2km run on the 30th of July

My biggest endurance challenge to date is the Outlaw Nottingham Full Iron Triathlon. Despite running for several years, I am looking forward to pushing myself mentally and physically and hope to raise £1,500 for three schools in Sandycroft and the West Midlands.

The School Wear Association reports that the average cost of compulsory school uniforms and sportswear items is £101,19 per pupil. Every school should be able to provide 4-5 pupils with a full set of uniforms with the money raised.

Thank you to all those who will decide to donate, it means a lot to me and even more to those families in need of support during this difficult time.

Unfortunately, the original fundraising page on JustGiving has been closed and cannot be reinstated as it has already expired. This is the message that I have received regarding the matter:

"I can see your page closed on 19/7/23 and I'm afraid we're unable to reactivate Crowdfunding pages once they have expired. However, if you'd like to continue to raise money then we'd suggest that you create a new page in your account."

I had no other choice but to open a new page. Kind-hearted people have donated £392, for which I am extremely grateful. With the last push remaining, I still hope to raise the remaining amount.
