Some of you will have already read about, or know of the devastating news our friend AJ received just eight weeks ago.

He was diagnosed with incurable pancreatic cancer, inoperable and untreatable, and was sent home with just eight months to live. As the following weeks progressed he learnt the cancer had really taken a hold and his life expectancy shortened to just weeks. Almost 8 weeks to the day since diagnosis, and the last 3 weeks in hospital, AJ sadly passed away this morning (17th March) after a very strong fight.

AJ leaves behind his lovely wife Taryn and 5 young children all under the age of 12, one of whom has severe and complex disabilities for which Taryn is his full time carer.

Life is already tough, and just got so much harder, and now with the added pressure of funeral costs etc we need to try raise £5500 to be able to start the funeral arrangements.

If you are able to spare anything at all to assist with this it would be hugely appreciated, however small.

Our community have been astounding in their support and love towards the family. Your generosity in the first round of crowd funding was hugely appreciated but we would like to ringfence those funds for the family’s future.
