I am undertaking a mission’s trip with my youth group to Rwanda this August and would love if you would be able to sponsor me.

This trip is especially important to me and my church due to the history of Rwanda and its people. In 1994 there was a genocide in Rwanda; in just 100 days over a million people were killed. Although their history is traumatic, the Rwandese people have an extraordinary spirit of hope and resilience which inspired me and my church to begin working in Rwanda over 20 years ago. Our missions are built upon a heart to empower and inspire a creative generation, a generation that will write a new story for Rwanda that does not focus on their past but to dictate and transform the future.

On this trip we will be:

● Training and developing children’s and youth workers

● Holding a children’s outreach event

● Holding a youth concert - entitled LOUD (Live Out Ur Destiny)

● Visiting a genocide survivors village and delivering initiatives that empower them to meet their daily needs (money management, how to start a small business in their community etc)

● Visiting a Compassion project

The total cost of the trip is inclusive of travel, accommodation, food and insurance for the duration of the trip. I am very grateful for any donations or support you can give.

This trip will enable me to meet the needs of the Rwandese, inspiring the hearts of a generation with hope and joy again.
