Toffee's tale

Toffee is a stunning bunny who came into the rescue with his mum, dad, brothers and sisters. He is a gorgeous colour with lovely brown eyes and loves to play!

However, Toffee has no tail... for an unknown reason, Toffee's tail disappeared and left him in a lot of pain and discomfort. For over two months, Toffee has been on various medications including antibiotics, anti-inflammatories and special creams - none of which are very pleasant for him to take!

Unfortunately, these medications are all very expensive and we, as a rescue, struggle to afford the treatment necessary for poor Toffee to recover. If Toffee's tail doesn't get better soon, we may have to give up, but he's so happy and energetic that we really want to keep going!

We are asking for a small donation just to keep Toffee  free  from  pain  and  to  help  with  his  recovery. If you are unable to donate, then why not come and have a cuddle with Toffee? Any help is really appreciated by everyone at Furlock Holmes Animal Care and, of course, Toffee himself!

Other animals

Any excess donations we receive from Toffee's cause will go straight towards the ongoing veterinary costs for the other animals in the rescue. We neuter and vaccinate all bunnies before they leave us, but this isn't cheap! With vaccinations being crucial due to a VHD-2 epidemic and neutering being important to prevent the over breeding of rabbits and to improve their health and wellbeing, we struggle to afford to take in more animals in need of our help!
