Story

*UPDATE 17/03/22*

With Matthew being on the ground, he has tried to work out the most cost effective way of supporting the Ukrainian refugees and the volunteers in Poland right now. There are 100,000 refugees coming through Warsawa station per day and at present the volunteers are feeding 25,000 of them. We believe the best way to support them is to send specialist items from the UK, and over the next 3-4 days it would be nice to support them by making a donation on our just giving page (link below) so we can hire them a van and make regular trips to the local wholesaler. This will enable them to maintain their stock better as at the moment they are relying on local businesses and restaurants for this.

As always thank you for your continued support - this appeal has had an incredible response so far.

*UPDATE*

A huge thankyou to everyone who has supported this appeal. We are now planning to send further trucks full of supplies over to the Ukraine border. Any additional funds raised will be used to help place refugees with welcoming families in the UK.

Millions of people in Ukraine are facing an imminent humanitarian crisis. They are in urgent need of supplies and relief as they face the prospect of losing their homes.

We are looking for funds and support from the public. Our plan is for our driver Dave to drive to the Ukrainian/ Poland border to drop supplies for the refugees.

We are looking to raise funds for transportation and supplies.

Dave, our super star driver, is taking the supplies. You will be able track Dave’s progress to the border, and he will post regular updates on the facebook page.

Our goal is to help in any possible way we can.
