Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Take a look at the pictures, these are my pride and joy ( my boy) with his pride and joy ( his scooter) until someone hit him and drove off leaving him like roadkill. Luckily, he’s on the mend.
Can anyone help?
As most of my friends are aware, my lad Fynlay New Kirby was knocked off his scooter a month ago in a hit and run by an animal Romanian with no insurance/tax/MOT and he lost everything that he had saved so hard for from his apprenticeship Wages. In short, he lost his pride and joy, his scooter. Fyn spent 2 weeks in hospital ( one in intensive care) had a 5.5 hr op and is the proud new owner of a metal rod from knee to hip and another in his arm but he’s mending. Physio now and then he wants to get back to finishing his apprenticeship and the rallies.
Now I need your help....
We have managed to pick up a doner frame but it is just a frame, there’s a lot more we need to get him back on the road. In short, I’m asking if anyone has PX125 bits knocking around and willing to donate them then they’ll be going to the best home. Or, if every one of our scooter friends could donate just £1 then we would have enough money to complete and get him back on the road in 6 weeks. As most of you are aware, my husband Robin Dobin Tidd is a scooterist and mechanic so he will complete the work required to get Fynlay New Kirby back on the road but if anyone has even just an hour free then I know he could use a hand.
Any monies raised will be solely used for the scooter and if, just by chance, we manage to get some money raised that is extra, it will go to a armed forces charity.
Thank you guys
