Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Many of us live our normal lives and go about our daily routines without a care in the world. Well, that's the way it should be. Unfortunately, a good percentage of us are going to suffer from heart disease or heart failure. I for one have gone about my daily routines and possibly (Like others) have had a little to much to drink on occasion or possibly over indulged in eating. I have never considered myself to be unfit for my age or overweight. When we think of heart disease, we think of the percentage population who look like they will suffer. Again, unfortunately, this is not the case. Heart disease can hit anyone who lives what we may call a normal care free life. I suffered a massive heart attack and luckily enough I am still here to tell the tale. They say your whole life flashes before your eyes when you face death. Let me tell you...it does. All the people you love come straight to mind and you prepare to say goodbye to them and recall all your memories. We are all here to live a life and none of us want it cut short. For years we have raised money for various charities to help progression and raise awareness for whatever cause affect us. Well, I don't want to raise money. I want to raise awareness and I want to prove that with a few changes i our life we can overcome anything. I want to raise awareness for 'The British Heart Foundation'.
I want to climb Mount Everest and raise public awareness/Media awareness & personal awareness. I want to show that whoever we are we can overcome odds and live an extraordinary life. We can push ourselves to the limit and live to tell the story. I want to take on the ultimate challenge. Along with raising money for this challenge I will be personally raising money for 'The British Heart Foundation' to help with all their current research.
