So we can't thank you all enough for the donations we've had up to now, it truly is amazing! We've now broken through our previous goal of £6000 so we've increased it once more to try and raise as much as we possibly can! We've also brought another charity onboard, The Disaster's Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. Like many people around the world, we are horrified and deeply saddened by the news in Ukraine, we at Edwards Lifting Services have been asking ourselves what we can do to help? Watching people flee their homes with suitcases, or whatever they can carry and losing absolutely everything else is truly heartbreaking. So we've decided to stop feeling helpless and to act, we are loading up our company flatbed and trailer, with as many supplies as we can get our hands on. My husband, Rob is going to drive to Poland to deliver the much needed supplies to these people who truly need our help. I keep thinking how I would feel to not be able to feed or keep my children warm and that for me was too much to comprehend! Please give whatever you can to get us there, buy supplies and help these people who need it. All money raised will be used in travelling costs, fuel and supplies. Any money left over will be donated by us to Unicef to protect the children in Ukraine.
