l was reading about this charity online and was shocked to even think about what I was reading. Young girls having to use things like straw, rags, newspapers and even animal skin during their menstruation. Now being a father of two girls myself I would hate to even think about what my girls would have to go through. Now just because I know my girls will be fine doesn't make this ok. Real people are suffering and many people are suffering. so I have taken this upon myself to not only raise money for this beautiful charity but also to help raise awareness.

Menstruation is a biological fact for many girls and women around the world. But for many, it comes with hygiene difficulties, stigma and even sometimes danger. Homeless women on the streets of England may have to go without sanitary towels. Some girls in Africa cannot afford the 'luxury' of sanitary towels. And some girls in India are banished from their homes while menstruating, because of the stigma attached to it; putting them at risk of violence and rape. Many drop out of education because they think there is something wrong with them, and have little education on their body and 'normality' of periods.

Binti provides sanitary towels to vulnerable girls and women in the UK, Africa and India, as well as an education to smash the shame and stigma around menstruation.
