Story
Help us set up our website!
The Scottish HSCT Network aims to raise awareness and advance HSCT (Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant) for people living with MS in Scotland. This potentially life-changing treatment is currently available on the NHS in England but not in Scotland (where people must travel abroad if they wish to pursue treatment privately).
Our network is raising funds to build a website which will strengthen and advance our campaign to the Scottish Government, allowing those living in Scotland the same access to treatment as those in England.
The website will also provide information and advice to those considering HSCT and support for veterans after their treatment. Any additional funds raised will be used to continue raising awareness of HSCT within Scotland.

6 years agoJust a quick update to let everyone know we have now reached our target! This is a fantastic achievement and we wanted to say a huge “Thank You” for your kind donations, they really are greatly appreciated. We can now create the Scottish HSCT Network website which will be revealed to everyone in the Autumn. The website will strengthen our campaign to allow access to HSCT treatment in Scotland but also support those have undergone HSCT and who are considering HSCT as a treatment for their MS. Gail

It's not on the NHS it's under clinical trial and paid for privately at £125,000 with strict criteria. It won't ever be With big pharma involved as tories want privatisation. Spread far and wide.

We need this to be available in Scotland, I went to Mexico for HSCT for half the price of what it would have been in England. Just not having to leave the country would be a bonus! Good luck xx
