Cycling Without Age Monifieth Chapter
Monifieth Befrienders and Cycling Without Age Scotland recently introduced the trishaw to the local community and we would like to buy one for our elderly and disabled residents.
The aim of the trishaw is to enhance and enrich lives by giving elderly and disabled people access to the beautiful outdoors. It enriches and enhances lives, unlocks doors, enables older people to once again be an active part of their community, to "feel the wind in their hair", to rekindle old friendships and to make new ones.
Your donation is a fantastic opportunity to help change the lives of our elderly friends and neighbours. It's truly heart warming to see the joy it brings to passengers. A volunteer committee has been created to oversee fundraising and the day to day running of project. You can see the trishaw in Monifieth Parish Church.

Some comments from passengers around Scotland:
"I would say it's one of the best days of my life."
"I felt really, almost elated ... because it's a long time since I've had such a lovely long walk."
"It's just great to get out, to be alongside the water with people passing, children passing. Great."
"A wonderful experience".
