Gainsborough Dolphins Swimming Club is proud to be raising money for two fantastic Gainsborough charities that make a real difference within our community: Gainsborough Adventure Playground (GAPA) and Feeding Gainsborough.

From Sunday 6th September to Thursday 10th September, more than 250 swimmers aged 5 to 75 will take on our biggest fundraising challenge yet as they work together to swim an incredible 250 kilometres.

Every member of the club will play their part. Our youngest swimmers will complete distances from just 5 metres, while our older and more experienced swimmers will tackle up to 5,000 metres each. Every length swum will contribute towards our collective goal of 250km!

Funds will be raised through business sponsorships, lane sponsorships, individual sponsorship forms and online donations. We hope not only to complete our 250km challenge but also to raise as much money as possible to support these two incredible organisations.

Gainsborough Adventure Playground (GAPA) provides opportunities for children and young people to play, learn and develop in a safe, inclusive environment. Money raised through The Big Swim will help provide new sports equipment, giving even more children the opportunity to stay active, build confidence and enjoy positive experiences throughout the year.

As the colder months approach, Feeding Gainsborough continues to provide essential food parcels and support to individuals and families across the local community. By supporting this event, you will help ensure that local people can continue to access the food and support they need during the winter months.
