“I personally have many family members buried there including my uncle who passed away from COVID-19 a few days ago! May this be a Sadaqah Jaariyah for him, my family and all those buried there. Ameen.”
Our aim is to initially cover the cost of 10 burials at approximately £3,000 each.
Due to COVID-19 only a limited number of immediate family members can be present at the janaza. They have to maintain social distancing, only coming together briefly for the janaza salaah.
Gardens of Peace Muslim Cemetery is a registered charity (1152922) who are on the front line of ensuring those that pass away from the COVID-19 pandemic are buried in accordance with Islamic beliefs.
Gardens of Peace provides the full range of funeral services in addition to burial plots at the Cemetery. The funeral services cover everything from the transport of the janazah to arranging and carrying out ghusl and the salatul janazah. Their purpose built facilities at the new site in Chigwell are second to none.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
“Whoever follows the funeral of Muslim, in faith and seeking reward, and he remains with it until the prayer is offered and the burial ceremony is finished, then he will return with two great rewards. Each reward is like the size of mount Uhud. Whoever offers the funeral prayer and returns before the burial, then he will return with one great reward.”
