The Covid-19 pandemic has caused us all difficulties in recent months. One area that has been hit hard is animal rescues. Much need fund raising activities have been cancelled overnight and cut off vital funds needed by my rescues. Basset Rescue Network GB and Foxhound Welfare UK are two hound rescues i have first hand experience of. Two of my five Bassets came from BRNGB.

Foxhound Welfare UK is ran by Jackie who rescues who takes on a huge amount of work single handed to rehome and support rescued hounds.

Both rescues have huge costs, spaying & neutering, vaccinations, vet bills, long term foster hounds with on-going health issues, food costs...the list goes on.

So im taking on the Cyclone Festival of cycling 65mile challenge to help raise much needed funds that have been cut off due to the pandemic.
