On Monday 16th July, Gareth and his brother were out for a ride on their motorbikes.

A car came around the corner on the wrong side of the road, to avoid a head on collision with the car Gareth swerved to avoid being hit. As a result of this he lost control of the bike, and was thrown from the bike into a ditch, he then had to pull himself out and flag down a passer by for help. (The car in question,failed to stop!)

Gareth was taken by ambulance to hospital, he has extensive injuries as a result of this accident and is very lucky to still be here!

He has fractures in his lower back, a fractured pelvis in two places, internal bruising, and internal bleeding as a result of this accident. Obviously Gareth is in an immense amoint of pain, and its going to be in hospital for a while yet, he is lucky that at the moment he doesnt have to have surgery on his pelvis.

However he won’t be able to walk for 6 weeks and his is going to be out of work for at least the next few months, maybe longer.

Gareth doesnt want to be a burden on anyone, and doesnt like the fact I am setting this page up, but in all honesty he is going to need help to be able to support Katie and Esme too.
