Garotas no Poder Reino Unido https://www.facebook.com/groups/124112444810790/ is a Facebook group that aims to support Brazilian women living in the UK to find jobs, hire other women and sell their services and products. Many of the women in the group are self employed or entrepreneurs - cleaners, nail artists, hairdressers, carers, small shop owners, independent artists and musicians - who are now being financially affected due to the Covid 19 pandemic.

The money collected here will be equally divided in small grants for the women that need financial support right now. Women are not being asked to prove that they need the money or to justify their spending - we are a community based on trust and solidarity.

I am personally collecting because I am the group's admin. I will distribute 100% of the money collected (minus the Just Giving fees) to the women that put themselves forward (they won't have to do that in the group, they will be able to reach out privately).
